Space to Land

Founded by counsellor & mother Meg Robinson this is a calm space for mothers carrying the invisible load of motherhood to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.

Does this feel familiar?

You love your children deeply, but sometimes feel quietly overwhelmed by the constant mental load of motherhood. You rarely get a moment to process how you're actually feeling. You notice you've changed since becoming a mother, but can't quite put words to it.You carry a lot internally, thoughts, responsibilities, expectations and it can feel heavy at times. You wish there was space to pause and understand your experience, not just push through it.

Why space to land?

Motherhood changes more than our routines. It changes our identity, our emotional landscape, and the way we experience ourselves in the world.Yet very little space exists for mothers to understand what is happening internally for them.Space to Land was founded by counsellor and mother Meg Robinson, after noticing this pattern again and again. Both through her professional work and her own experience of motherhood.Mothers are often given endless advice about how to care for their children, yet very little space to process what they themselves are carrying. The invisible emotional load.
The identity shifts.
The quiet pressure to hold everything together.
Space to Land exists as a calm place where mothers can pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of their internal experience of motherhood with greater clarity.Through counselling sessions and thoughtfully developed digital resources, the intention is simple:To offer mothers a place where their internal experience is seen, understood, and supported.Because sometimes mothers don’t need more advice. They need somewhere to land.

Digital Resources

Space to Land is building a growing library of reflective resources designed to help mothers understand their internal experience of motherhood and reconnect with themselves.

Counselling Sessions

Free Resouces for Mums

Hey Mumma,

There are more mornings like this coming.Space to Land Live is an ongoing series of in-person experiences for mums — intimate, guided, and designed to give you back what motherhood quietly takes. Each event is built around the same intention: to give you space to slow down, release what you've been carrying, and leave feeling more like yourself.Drop your details below to get early access to upcoming events — before they're announced anywhere else.

The Space to Land Signature FrameworkEvery Space to Land Live experience is built on the same four-phase emotional cycle — designed to meet you exactly where you are and move you gently somewhere lighter.🌿 Safety
Before anything else, we create the conditions for your nervous system to soften. Grounding and body awareness practices help you step out of the mental load of motherhood and back into your body — so you can actually receive what comes next.
🌿 Awareness
This is where you turn inward. Through guided reflection, you begin to recognise and name what you've been carrying — often for longer than you realised. No advice. No fixing. Just honest, gentle awareness.
🌿 Release
The part most mums don't know they need until they're in it. A physical expression practice that allows emotional energy to move through the body — safely, intentionally, and in a held space. The emotions that have been quietly accumulating finally have somewhere to go.
🌿 Landing
We close the cycle with re-grounding and integration — a guided return to yourself. You leave with clarity, calm, and a sense of internal spaciousness that's hard to describe until you've felt it.

*"I didn't realise how much I needed that."
Most mums leave with some version of this quiet realisation.
That's the whole point.
These experiences are intentionally small — so the space can remain safe, calm, and deeply supportive.
Because of this, places fill well before the event is publicly announced.
Joining the early access list is the best way to make sure you don't miss out.

What is this?

A place to pause.
One small check-in a week.

Notice & Land is a printable PDF tracker that asks you to slow down for a few minutes each week and simply notice — what's happening in your body, your emotional landscape, your energy. Nothing to fix. Nothing to analyse.

It's grounded in nervous system awareness: the understanding that before we can shift how we feel, we need to know where we actually are. This resource gives you a gentle, structured way to do that — week by week, without pressure.

Think of it as a quiet ritual. Something that's just for you.

What's included

Simple. Printable.
Designed to be used.

Weekly Nervous System Tracker

A beautifully designed, printable PDF with weekly check-in prompts to help you notice and name your emotional and physical state. Covers body sensations, energy, emotional tone, and what you need.

How-to Guide

A short, warm guide that walks you through how to use the tracker — including a brief introduction to nervous system states, what the prompts mean, and how to approach the check-in without pressure or expectation.

  • You know something feels off — but you're too exhausted to figure out what, or you don't have the space to sit with it.
  • You don't need another course, another habit, another thing to maintain. You need something small, honest, and gentle.
  • You want to feel more like yourself again — even if you're not quite sure who that is right now.

Why this matters

Your nervous system is
running the show.

When you're in survival mode — and early motherhood is survival mode — your body and brain are working hard to keep you upright. There's very little left over for reflection, for processing, for feeling.

The nervous system isn't just about stress. It shapes how safe you feel, how connected you feel, how available you are — to your baby, to yourself, to anything. And most of the time, in motherhood, nobody asks us to check in with it at all.

Noticing is not fixing.

You don't have to change anything to use this tool. The act of naming where you are is enough. Awareness itself creates a kind of space — even a few millimetres of it.

The body holds information.

Before emotions make it to words, they live in the body. Tension in your jaw. Heaviness in your chest. This tracker starts there — in sensation — and works gently upward.

Weekly is enough.

This isn't a daily practice. It's a weekly pause. Five to ten minutes, once a week — enough to stay in touch with yourself without adding to your load.

It's just for you.

No sharing required. No output. Nothing to show anyone. This exists in the quiet space between who you're being for everyone else and who you actually are.

From a mother
I didn't realise how long I'd been on autopilot until I sat with this for the first time. Just naming it helped.

Who made this

Hi, I'm Meg.

I'm a qualified counsellor and the founder of Space to Land — a practice built specifically for mothers navigating the enormity of early motherhood and matrescence.

I created Notice & Land because I kept seeing the same thing in my work with mothers: not a lack of resilience, not a failure to cope — but a complete disconnection from themselves. Women who had been so busy holding everything together that they'd stopped noticing what they were actually feeling. This resource is my attempt to give that back, gently and without pressure.

I know what it is to be in the thick of it. And I know that sometimes the most useful thing isn't advice — it's just a quiet place to land.

Notice & Land

Something quiet.
Something that's just yours.

A few minutes, once a week. A gentle check-in with your own nervous system. No expectations. No performance. Just a space to notice where you've landed.

Why this exists

The world feels heavy right now. And if you're in early motherhood — you're already carrying everything.

The fear, the uncertainty, the overstimulation of it all sitting on top of the most identity-shifting season of your life. There is nowhere to put it down.

We can't change what's happening out there. But we can tend to what's happening inside us — and right now, I think that might be the most important thing we do.

This session exists because you deserve somewhere safe to exhale.

What to expect

45 minutes. From your couch.
No performance required.

Your facilitator

I'm Meg — counsellor, mother, and founder of Space to Land.

I work with mothers in early motherhood navigating the overwhelm, the identity shift, and the exhaustion of losing themselves in it all. This visualization practice is part of the signature Space to Land framework — built around Safety, Awareness, Release, and Landing.

I created this session because I'm hearing it everywhere right now. From friends, from clients, from the women around me. And I refuse to let cost or logistics be the reason you don't show up for yourself.
